The 18th NTRCA Circular 2024 has been published, which is important for teacher recruitment in private schools and colleges across the country. NTRCA (Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority) conducts the teacher recruitment process every year, where eligible candidates are primarily selected through preliminary examination, written examination, and viva voce. This circular is an opportunity for candidates who want to enter the teaching profession. 18th NTRCA Circular 2024

The 18th NTRCA Circular 2024 was published on November 2, 2023. This year, the candidate selection process for teacher recruitment in various schools and colleges will begin. The last date for application and other important dates are given below:

  • Application Start Date: November 9, 2023, from 9:00 AM.
  • Application Deadline: November 30, 2023, until 12:00 AM.
  • Fee Submission Deadline: Candidates must submit the fee by November 30, 2023, by 12:00 AM using the User ID received through SMS after completing the application process.
  • Candidates can submit the fee within 72 hours of sending the SMS for fee submission.

Candidates must complete the application process on time and provide the relevant information correctly. Applications with incorrect information or late submissions will not be accepted. You are advised to carefully verify everything before applying.

Application Eligibility

To apply for the 19th NTRCA Circular 2025, specific qualifications must be met. The age, educational qualifications, and other conditions of the candidates are as follows:

  • Age Limit: The candidate must be between 21 and 30 as of January 1, 2025.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed graduation or equivalent examinations. Academic qualifications may vary in different departments.
  • Citizenship: The candidate must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
  • Other Qualifications: Must have a second-class bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject.

How to Apply?

To apply for the 18th NTRCA Circular 2024, you must apply online. To do this, you have to go to the official NTRCA website and fill out the application form. The application process is given below:

  • Visit ntrca.teletalk.com.bd, select the radio button of your preferred post, and open the application form.
  • Provide your SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent information and proceed to the next step.
  • Fill out the application form with the required information.
  • Scan and upload your signature (300×80 pixels) and color photograph (300×300 pixels) on a white background in the designated places.
  • Please recheck whether all the information in the application form is correct. Remember, no information can be changed after the form is submitted.
  • After filling in all the information correctly, submit the application form.
  • After submitting, you will receive a User ID and Applicant’s Copy. Print or download and save it.

Application Fee Payment

Pay the exam fee of Tk 350/- within 72 hours through two SMSs from a Teletalk prepaid mobile. Instructions for paying the application fee will be mentioned in the Applicant’s Copy. Detailed instructions are also available in the 18th NTRCA Circular. The SMS rules are as follows:

  • First SMS: Type NTRCA<space>User ID and send it to 16222.
  • Second SMS: Type NTRCA<space>Yes<Space>PIN and send it to 16222.

After your application is successfully submitted, a password will be provided. The user ID and password will be required for downloading admit cards and other purposes in the future.

Admit Card Download

Downloading the Admit Card for the preliminary examination will begin a few days before the exam date. You can download your Admit Card from the NTRCA website using your user ID and password. The Admit Card will contain your exam center, exam time, and other important information.

The receipt of the admit card will be informed to the candidate’s provided mobile number through SMS in due time. After receiving the SMS, candidates can download their admit card from the ntrca.teletalk.com.bd website.

  • Preliminary Test Admit Card: As per the instructions, after submitting the prescribed examination fee, a User ID and Password will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number via SMS from Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd. Using the sent User ID and Password, the candidate can download their Preliminary Test Admit Card.
  • Written Examination Admit Card: After the results of the candidates who passed the Preliminary Test are published, admit cards for the passed candidates will be provided (uploaded) on the ntrca.teletalk.com.bd website. After receiving the SMS, the candidates who passed can download the Written Examination Admit Card using the previously provided User ID and Password.

SMS will inform the candidates who passed the written examination of the time and place of the viva voce.

Candidates who have passed the written examination will preserve the Preliminary Test Admit Card and the Written Examination Admit Card and must show them during the Viva Voce and registration certificate collection.

Preliminary Test

The date, place, and time of the preliminary test will be announced later through notifications in national daily newspapers and on the NTRCA website. It will also be communicated via SMS on mobile.

Candidates have to participate in a 100 (one hundred) mark Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Type Preliminary Test. The total time for the exam is 1 (one) hour. The Optical Mark Readable Litho Code-connected answer sheet will be evaluated by computer using an OMR machine.

There will be a total of 100 (one hundred) questions in this exam. The candidate will get 1 (one) mark for each correct answer, but for a wrong answer, 0.25 (decimal two five) marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained. The pass mark in the Preliminary Test is 40%.

Candidates will participate in the Preliminary Test in separate question papers in 3 stages, namely (1) School Level-2 (2) School Level and (3) College Level. The subject and mark distribution of the Preliminary Test will be as follows:

Written Test

The written examination’s date, place, and time will be announced later through a notification in national daily newspapers and on the NTRCA website. It will also be informed via SMS on mobile.

The time of the written examination for each subject of 100 (one hundred) marks is 3 (three) hours.

Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, several candidates determined by the authority as per rules in each subject will be selected for the oral examination according to merit.

Viva-voce

After the results of the candidates who passed the written examination are published, the admit cards for the viva voce for the passed candidates will be provided (uploaded) on the ntrca.teletalk.com.bd website. After receiving the SMS, the passed candidates can download the viva admit card in due time using the previously provided User ID and Password.

Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, eligible candidates will be invited to the oral examination as per rules.

The date, time, and place of the oral examination will be informed to the selected candidates via SMS. According to the instructions received in the SMS, the selected candidates have to participate in the 20-mark oral examination.

There will be 2 parts of the oral examination marks; namely 12 marks on educational qualification certificates and 08 marks on question-answers. If a candidate does not get at least 40% marks in both parts of the oral examination, the concerned candidate will not be considered eligible for inclusion in the merit list.

The results will be published as per rules based on the marks obtained in the written and oral examinations.

Syllabus

The subject-wise syllabus of the Preliminary Test and Written Examination can be found on the NTRCA website (www.ntrca.gov.bd) in the syllabus-related service box and at the ntrca.teletalk.com.bd link.

The exam will be conducted according to the syllabus.

Exam Centers

The candidate has to appear for the exam at the exam center mentioned in the admit card. No application for center change will be accepted.

  • Preliminary Test Centers: The preliminary test of the Eighteenth Teacher Registration Examination 2023 will be held in 24 (twenty-four) district towns of the country, namely: Dinajpur, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Bogra, Rajshahi, Naogaon, Pabna, Kushtia, Jashore, Khulna, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Tangail, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Faridpur, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattogram, Barishal, Patuakhali, Sylhet, and Rangamati.
  • Written Examination Centers: For candidates who pass the preliminary test, the written examination will be held in 8 (eight) divisional cities: Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Dhaka, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, and Mymensingh.

Candidates will participate in the preliminary test at the exam center filled in by the candidate in the online application form.

Results

The results of the preliminary, written, and viva voce examinations are usually published on the NTRCA website. The results will also be informed to the passed candidates through SMS.
